Common questions

The connector doesn’t show up in my chat

• In Claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste https://www.scout90.es/mcp. Refresh the conversation.
• In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors (Plus/Pro plan) → New connector → URL https://www.scout90.es/mcp. Toggle it on in the composer of the current chat.

I ask about a player and nothing comes up

Current coverage: 2025-26 season of Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga and Eredivisie + LaLiga 2024-25 + the complete World Cup 2026 (48 national teams). If you ask about a player from another league (Belgian Pro League, MLS, etc.) the result will be empty. Roadmap: adding those leagues progressively.

Stats don’t match another source

Numbers in Scout90 reflect the events aggregated by WhoScored via the soccerdata library. Other sources (Transfermarkt, FBref, Sofascore) may show slightly different numbers due to differences in how they define metrics. Scout90’s radar uses position-aware percentiles — a better indicator of a player’s level than absolute numbers.

Can I use Scout90 without ChatGPT/Claude?

The connector lives inside the MCP protocol, so you need a compatible client. Today: ChatGPT (Plus/Pro), Claude.ai, Claude Desktop. Any client that implements MCP can connect it.

Cost, subscription, freemium?

Scout90 is completely free, no paywall, no subscription.

Roadmap?

• More leagues: Belgian Pro League (Primeira Liga and Eredivisie are already in, since August 2026).
• Improved fuzzy search for typoed player names.
• Full coverage of national teams outside the World Cup.
